Staking Dashboard
Stake to storage providers to earn in the Cloud Economy. Help secure the Züs network by delegating tokens to providers, receiving revenue from cloud storage usage, and helping providers earn more.
Staking in the Cloud Economy
Stake ZCN Tokens: Navigate to "Stake´" to stake ZCN and earn in the cloud storage economy.
Selection Process: Choose storage providers (miners, sharders, and blobbers) based on performance metrics like stored data, capacity, quality score, and service fee.
Revenue Stream: Earn consistent income from the Züs cloud storage economy. How to Stake? Check out how to Stake, Claim Rewards, and Unstake
The Züs Ecosystem
Miners: Responsible for processing transactions and maintaining blockchain integrity.
Sharders: Manage data indices, enabling efficient data retrieval.
Blobbers: Offer data storage services, rewarded based on storage quality and duration.
Important Notes:
Locked Tokens: When you stake a blobber, your tokens might get locked. This is because ZCN tokens are locked on the Blobber proportionally to their used capacity*write price. If there are not enough tokens to cover the locked amount, your tokens will be closed until the storage contract is ended on the side of the client who bought the storage.
No partial unlock: You can only remove the total stake amount. It is not possible to remove a partial stake amount. Tokens might get locked: ZCN tokens are inherently locked when data is stored on a Blobber as collateral for data security. If used storage is high, relative to its write price and stake amount, tokens will be locked until the storage contract period has ended (storage allocations are typically one year but can be renewed anytime). You will continue receiving rewards while it is locked.
Pending Rewards: Even if you have pending rewards, you will receive them when Unlocking your stake.
Staking in the Cloud Economy
Stake ZCN Tokens: Users can stake ZCN tokens to participate in the cloud storage market.
Selection Process: Choose storage providers (Miner, Sharders, and Blobbers) based on performance metrics like stored data, capacity, quality score, and service fee.
Revenue Stream: Earn consistent income from the cloud storage business.
Providers Available for Staking
Miners: Responsible for processing transactions and maintaining blockchain integrity.
Sharders: Manage data indices, enabling efficient data retrieval.
Blobbers: Offer data storage services, rewarded based on storage quality and duration.
Locked token Risks
When staking to Blobbers, your tokens might get locked as other users store data on the service provider. Calculate the locked amount with the formula (GB write price/year * GB allocated). For example, if 100 GB is allocated to a server at 1 ZCN / GB per year, 100 ZCN must stay locked.
Let's take a look at the sections of this page
Staking Overview Section
Total Staked Amount
This is the total amount you staked all the providers.
Claimable Stake Rewards
This is how much reward you can claim to your wallet as return of your investment in staking providers.
Claim Rewards Button
Using this button, you can claim your rewards to your wallet.
From this popup, you can specify which provider you need to claim the rewards of. Specify the rewards you want to claim then click "Confirm" to redeem your rewards.
Stake Providers Button
This button initiates the Staking flow, which enables you to stake providers for rewards.
Staking Rewards Chart
This chart shows the change of the amount of tokens you staked for the providers. For more information of how to interact with this chart, refer to this page.
Current Stakes Section
The Current Stakes section lists all the providers you staked and the amount you staked to them. This table shows the following information:
Status
The current status of the provider.
Provider
The provider name, with a button to navigate to its url.
Type
The type of this provider (Miners/Sharder/Blobber).
Staked
The amount of tokens staked for this provider.
Claimed Rewards
The amount of reward you claimed (or redeemed) to your wallet.
Pending Rewards
The amount of claimable reward you can redeem to your wallet.
ID
This is an identifier to the relation between your wallet and the staked provider, known as the "Stake Pool".
Manage
Using this button, you can manage you Stake Pool, stake more token or even unstake some tokens if you're not satisfied with the return you get on your investment. When clicked, it shows the popup in the image below, where you can check the details of your Stake Pool and staking/unstaking controls.
