# Storage Management Dashboard

Using this dashboard, you can change the configuration of your storage allocation, including:

* Upgrading storage by extending its size.
* View storage providers hosting your data.
* Replace an existing blobber (storage provider) with a new one.
* Cancel your storage allocation.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can also open the upgrade window by clicking **Upgrade Storage** in the bottom-left of the page. On a brand-new account with no storage yet, the dashboard shows **Create your allocation** instead.
{% endhint %}

#### Storage plans

Vult storage is **paid** — there is no free tier. Plans are billed annually (roughly **$10 per TB per month**):

| Plan                | Storage | Price       |
| ------------------- | ------- | ----------- |
| Starter (USDC only) | 8.33 GB | $1 / year   |
| 100 GB              | 100 GB  | $12 / year  |
| 200 GB              | 200 GB  | $24 / year  |
| 400 GB              | 400 GB  | $48 / year  |
| 1 TB                | 1 TB    | $120 / year |
| 2 TB                | 2 TB    | $240 / year |

#### Paying for storage

After picking a plan, the **Proceed to Pay** dialog opens. Choose a payment method:

* **Stripe** — pay by credit/debit card via Stripe checkout. (Card payments have a $10 minimum, so the $1 Starter plan can't be bought by card.)
* **ZCN** — pay with ZCN tokens from your Züs wallet.
* **USDC (Base)** — approve a USDC payment in your connected wallet (for example MetaMask) on the Base network. This is the only way to buy the **$1 Starter** plan.

Once the payment is successful, your storage change is applied immediately. (Card payments can also be set up as a recurring [Züs Subscription](/zus-docs/webapps/vult/zus-subscription.md) so your yearly fee renews automatically.)

### View Storage Providers

To view the blobbers which host your allocation data, click on "View Storage Providers"

<figure><img src="/files/IurbrOUrYhqBTfNh9obS" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig6: View Storage Provider</p></figcaption></figure>

You'll then be shown a list of the blobbers which host the data of your allocation.

### Replace Blobber

Blobbers are storage providers within the platform. Users can choose from multiple brands, and rewards increase as more users opt for a specific branded blobber. Blobbers facilitate the secure storage and management of data on the platform. You may need to replace an existing blobber on your allocation with another be3tter-performing one. Here are the steps to replace a blobber:

1. Go to the blobber section in the **Storage Details** and click on **Replace Blobber.**

<figure><img src="/files/kobEfLR9jN0dzdDXiwfn" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig8: Replace Blobber</p></figcaption></figure>

2. Choose one of your existing blobbers to remove.

<figure><img src="/files/UG5yITG9L60SUMfHgJkb" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig9: Replace Blobber - Remove</p></figcaption></figure>

3. Choose a blobber to add. You can select a blobber branded by **Züs** or choose from **any** available brands.

<figure><img src="/files/1pyIlXh1HfjU04kjsUsQ" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig10: Select Brand</p></figcaption></figure>

3. **Optional**: During the selection process, click on the 'restricted blobber' option if you wish to use a private blobber. More information on [Restricted Blobbers here](/zus-docs/webapps/chimney/restricted-blobbers.md).

<figure><img src="/files/FiGOBnHYYypX45cAMxet" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig11: Show Restricted Blobber</p></figcaption></figure>

4. After selecting the blobber, a summary of your choice will be displayed. Verify all details are correct. Click on the 'confirm' button to finalize the addition of your chosen blobber. You will have to pay ZCN tokens to confirm the action. After payment, the new blobber will be integrated into your storage configuration on the platform, while the other one will be removed.

### Cancel Allocation

If you don't need your allocation anymore, or you need to recreate another allocation, you can cancel your allocation by clicking on "Cancel Allocation".

<figure><img src="/files/6A8u807xZfrOCvXSEb96" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fig12: Cancel Allocation</p></figcaption></figure>

Then you need to proceed to pay the cancellation fee, then the allocation will be cancelled.

{% hint style="danger" %}
After cancelling your allocation, your data will be completely ERASED from the storage servers.
{% endhint %}
