Staking Dashboard

The Stake Page on Chimney serves as the central hub for managing and monitoring stakes on validators and blobbers. Users can track their total stake amount, claim rewards, add stakes, manage stakes and view detailed information on stakes.

Total Stake Amount

• Displays the combined total of ZCN staked on both validators and blobbers.

• This is a dynamic figure that updates as stakes are added or removed.

Staking providers

To participate in allocation selection on the Züs network, you must stake a minimum of 20 ZCN, which enables you to potentially earn rewards. This document will guide you through the steps to stake ZCN on a blobber, including the initial mandatory stake on the validator.

To Stake a Provider, click on "Add Stake".

Step 1: Choose Stake Amount

Navigate to the "Select Amount" section and enter the amount you wish to stake on the blobber. A minimum total of 20 ZCN is required, with 10 ZCN allocated to a blobber and 10 ZCN to the validator.

Click "Next" to proceed.

Step 2: Confirm Stake Details

Review your staking details, including the "Amount to Stake" and the "Fees" for the transaction. Here you have the option to adjust the transaction fees according to the processing speed you prefer: slow, medium, fast or a custom fee.

After reviewing the stake details and selecting your preferred transaction speed, click on "Confirm and Stake" to continue with the process.

Step 3: Payment Method

Choose to "Pay from existing balance" if you have sufficient ZCN, or select "Get" to acquire more ZCN.

After selecting your payment method, wait for the transaction to process. This may take a few seconds

Step 4: Transaction Confirmation

Once the stake is processed, a confirmation message will appear, confirming your submitted stake for the selected amount of ZCN. Optionally, click "View on Explorer" to verify the transaction on the blockchain.

Click "Back to Stake Page" to finish or to start another staking transaction.

Claimable Staking Rewards

• Shows the amount of ZCN that is ready to be claimed as rewards.

• Users can claim these rewards by clicking the "Claim Rewards" button.

• When users choose to claim rewards, a dialog box presents a selection of providers to claim from, the total amount being claimed, and the transaction fee.

• Users can confirm the claim after reviewing the details.

Validator and Blobber Details

• Provides links to the validator and blobber on the Chimney network, allowing users to view specific details and performance metrics.

• Users can see the amount staked on each and the associated rewards.

Current Stakes

• Lists all active stakes, showing the provider type (validator or blobber), the amount staked, any pending rewards, and unique IDs for management purposes.

• Users have options to manage stakes directly from this list.

Within the manage stake dialog, users can choose to remove their stake, which should be done with consideration of the network's staking terms and potential implications on rewards.
